Likely we are good to go. John will send requests to the municipalities<\/span><span class=\"s4\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\">It appears that Brad Fulton\u2019s position on the PAC<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>will not be filled.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>His municipal position has been filled temporarily.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\"><span class=\"s1\">Application to Clare has been sent for water quality monitoring.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>OP Eds<\/b> -Barrie will work on having something to offer next time.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Summer Jobs-Clean Foundation<\/b> \u2013We have 4 applicants.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We hope to hire a person for the Eco Action job, but we may not have the funds. That is yet to be determined.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Shoreline Buffer Issues<\/b>-The municipal units have received the spring letter (Clare, Argyle, Yarmouth).<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Lobster Draw<\/b>&#8211;<b>Carl\u2019s Store<\/b>-April 19, 10-12- Friday (Ginny &amp; Barrie) and 12-2 (John M. and Barrie); Saturday 10-12- John M &amp; Barrie)\/\/12-2- Aurel<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>and Barrie. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><b>Carleton Store<\/b>&#8211; April 27-12-2 \/\/Carleton River 7am Roy &amp; Barrie.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Eco-Action<\/b>-No news<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>DFO Coastal Restoration<\/b>-No news<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Municipality re Dayton issue<\/b>. Notice of the issue has gone to council but not yet to the PAC members.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>It was agreed that a letter should go to PAC via John Cunningham.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><b>John S<\/b>. will write this letter.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We may need to engage a member to take water samples to sample minerals, petro chemicals, heavy metals.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Barrie will connect with West Nova Labs.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b> <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>AGM-April 17, coffee to be made at 6:00 and people can arrive at 6:30. New members: <\/b>Nicole Roberts Fenton<b>, <\/b>Oliver Richard, Elliot MacDonnell and Derrick Ryerson .<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Barrie will circulate info regarding Wooly Adelgid monitoring<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/b>for anyone going into hemlock stands .<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\"><b><\/b><span class=\"s1\"><b> <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Debbie S <\/b>showed the <b>Burn<\/b> movie again, April 3, at the library.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>He encouraged those who were present to try to get them to go to the web sight.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>NEW BUSINESS<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"> 1. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Tusket River kiack sampling-Alec Cunningham has accepted the supervisory position but we need three people.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>($14.50\/hour).<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>They must work in pairs in the afternoon. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Interested people should get hold of John Sollows.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"> 2.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Free Cycle-Usable electric materials to be dropped off at 9:00am and given out at 10:00. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Ginny and Dianne will help.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"> 3. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Pay Roll sheets will be needed for the Tusket job. (10 weeks: mid April to June).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"> 4. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Derrick Lesser will pass on information about TREPA activities to students in appropriate clubs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"> 5. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Argyle garbage pick up May 4, Wilson Road 2K and Curry Road -1 K.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"> 6. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Dept. of Environment is still doing reports on mink ranches working and closed farms.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We can fill in a form and take it in to the department.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Acadia University students are doing a study on the gulls that still circulate the mink farms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Next meeting AGM, April 17, 6:30.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TREPA Minutes These are unapproved minutes.
