We will be having a meeting with Justin Houston and others to talk about implementation of our ideas.<\/p>\n<div>Karen Traversy, CCNS Steering Committee<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">Dear Ms. Traversy:<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your submission on behalf of the Coastal Coalition of\u00a0Nova Scotia regarding the development of the provincial Coastal\u00a0Strategy.\u00a0 The input that you have provided, representing 55\u00a0organizations and community groups, is extremely valuable to the\u00a0process.<\/p>\n<p>The ideas and suggestions raised by the Coalition, in respect to the\u00a0process for developing the strategy and on various policy and governance\u00a0issues, were well-organized and well-articulated, and my staff have been\u00a0looking closely at these ideas as they set out the course for drafting\u00a0the Coastal Strategy.<\/p>\n<p>I recognize the Coalition\u2019s broad interest and expertise as well as its constructive and collaborative approach in working to improve\u00a0coastal management in Nova Scotia.\u00a0 As such, I have instructed Justin\u00a0Huston, Chair of the Provincial Oceans Network, to set\u00a0 up a meeting\u00a0with you at your earliest convenience to further discuss the<br \/>\nCoalition\u2019s ideas and how they might be incorporated into the\u00a0Coastal Strategy process.<\/p>\n<p>Yours sincerely,<br \/>\nOriginal Signed By:<br \/>\nSterling W.W.
