The weather was perfect, the food varied and delicious, and there was wonderful music coming from the bandstand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And what do picnics generate? &#8212; recyclables, compostable, and some unrecoverable waste. Margrit was there to monitor and assist at the returns centre to make sure things got to the right container. \u00a0As she discovered, people don&#8217;t always know what is supposed to go where and some don&#8217;t even look.
